In the 80s, I had a friend who was "captain" (i.e., cox'n) of one of these. His personal weapons, racked next to him in the cockpit, were a sawed-off 12-gauge shotgun and hand-grenades - talk about close combat. Since then, I've always wanted to build one of these scrappy war-boats.
