Sent to the Russian front in the Summer of 1942, the 7.5 cm anti-tank gun model 40 had a barrel 48 calibres long compared to the earlier 3.7 cm anti-tank gun which was only 24 calibres long. The long barrel anti-tank guns were used against the Soviet Union T-34 and KV-1. With armor-piercing projectile model 40, the 7.5 cm gun was able to penetrate a 130 mm armor plate at a distance of 1,000 meters.

Nice job. Just to clear up a bit of confusion: the Pak 36 (37mm) was L45. The tank gun used on the Pzkw IV up to and including the Ausf F1 was only 24 calibres long, though.
