I am a 67 year old who has been building models since age 5 (with help from Dad). I retired a year ago and have a little more time to build primarily 1/72 scale modern aircraft but sometimes add a 1/72 scale armor model. I have stash of about 100 decal sheets and 600 kits of aircraft, armor and 1/25 scale cars and trucks from which I build. I don't have space to display more than two dozen completed models so most go into one of three large boxes I keep in the garage.
I am a Viet Nam veteran who worked on EA-1F queer spads and EKA-3B whales out of DaNang airbase and 9 months on the aircraft carrier USS Ticonderoga. Most of my kit building focuses on the Viet Nam era with F-16s thrown in because of the multitude of decals depicting various nations and models.
