During the Vietnam War, the USAF sent 2 squadrons of F-104C's to Thailand.
although they werent used as effectivly as other more suitable types, they still made a decent contribution.

work on the F-104C has begun, unfortunatly, im off to a bad start as i broke of the resin refueling probe when cutting it out 🙁
luckily i had another set for backup and managed to cut that one out without problems.

Can't you cut off the resin nozzle and attach that to an appropriately bent piece of thick copper wire? That should make it sturdier.

@Bart, not entirely, but the C-model has a smaller rudder compared to the -G, but i decided to go with the conversion kit to save worktime and avoid messy mistakes.

OooOOOooh! Never considered these were in service in Vietnam. Not my favourite plane (reason - SR177 and politics) but my girl spotted a Testors 1/48 in the flea market last year. Was going to do Luftwaffe but I rather like your album cover. Thanks for the inspiration 😄
