M4A3E8 in Korea with 64th Tank Battalion, 3rd ID

M4A3E8 built OOB with a scratch-built mantlet cover. The scratch-built mantlet cover was made from multiple layers of tissue paper diluted in white glue, with a cover mounting edge made from styrene strips and rods (for bolt heads).

Decals are from the Star Decals 1/35 Korean War Tiger face Sherman’s 64th Tank Bn 15th Inf. (No. 35C1137).

Primer with Mr. Hobby primer rattle can. The base color is Vallejo Olive Drab & Desert Yellow (50-50) applied with a Badger 200 airbrush. The blue and white 3rd ID patch on hull front is airbrushed using Vallejo Blue and White.
