About me

Spent the 80s as a slap it together, out of the box modeller.
Spent the 90s in the USAF slapping bombs and missiles together.
Spent the 00s building a family.
Now I am finally enjoying scale modelling for everything it is thanks to my son. He has Cerebral Palsy which prevents him from building or helping me, but he loves to watch as I build. That's what makes it special.

I have managed to amass a very large collection of books, magazines, guides, articles, and publications covering US Signal Corp Aviation, AEF Aviation, US Army Air Services, US Army Air Corps, US Army Air Forces, and the US Air Force. Some are rare and quite obscure. I am always glad to help with research or questions if I can.

Working on building a collection of all the aircraft used by the USAF and all the entities it was known as prior to 1947.
Really enjoy the obscure and one off aircraft designed and used until the modern USAF.
Trying to piece together all the information I can find about the history and aircraft of the Tennessee Air National Guard. (Very little aircraft info out there in comparison to other state ANG organizations that have origins dating to WWI)
Outside of scale models I am an amateur U.S. Civil War historian, outdoors enthusiast, and a stay at home dad.
