VMFA(AW)-533 Hawks / USMC A-6E INTRUDER (ODS)

Used this kit as a learning experience for my 1/48 kits, got a couple 1/72 more to practice on before I’m comfortable enough to start the 1/48s.

Besides some alignment issues the only issues I had was that the decals was way to bright for the low vis schemes (in order to get the contrast as on the real aircraft I would have had to paint it white) and the second issue was the tinting of the front window which I apparently have to practice on...

From reading about it I understand that the USMC A-6 units during Gulf war didn’t carry AGM-88 since the USMC had other HARM-shooters. But it was included in the kit and it looks quite nice hanging there I think. Rest of the ordnance is 6 MK20 and a GBU-12.
