T'rantula just came out of the paint shop. After I gave the Alclad gloss black a few days to cure, I followed up with Alclad Chrome, dry to the touch in less than an hour. The gloss black is really nice, goes on nice and smooth, already thinned for AB. However stays tacky 3-4 days. I still have 3/4's of a 4oz.
I'm shooting for a non-traditional finish for this one. I did a little Testors Emerald Green thinned with Tamiya Lacquer feathered underneath to see how it goes down. Liking it so far.

Back to the Bench. T'rantula, out of the paint booth. All Testors 1/4oz bottles, 50/50 lacquer thinner.
Put some of the elements together to see how the colors clash. I think some more metal flake green feathered up higher over the metal flake gold might be in order
