Hello from SouthEast Dallas Texas. I am semi retired and returning to modeling, specifically, AFV, and such from a German experience on the WW II Russian front.
The modern modeling is a new world for me. Around 1998 I saw a picture with a field crane lifting a Panther turret. I was fascinated and here in 2019, decided to create a diorama of a field maintenance area with the Takom crane, some Trumpeter RR cars and track, provided by Tamiya and other wonderful model makers.
It is fascinating, the amount of material to support the big models. I am referring to the figures, the maintenance sets for different models such as mechanics for tanks, for tracked vehicles, and mechanics for Kubelwagons and other assets of a mobile army.
