I handmade this custom Viking vs. Medieval Penguin chess set. The figures are sculpted from grey Femo, and hand-painted and lacquered.
The case was purchase, but I cut the foam insert and did the cartoons decorating the sides.
This is case Mk. II! Mk. I had trays designed to look like icebergs. When the case fell off its hook 2 seconds after I hung it, the trays all broke. I like this version better, but the first was more attractive.
