Hello Fellow Modeler's,
Building scale plastic models has been my longest standing hobby. I truly believe that my father had everything to do with my interest in building models. My dad was an Aerospace Engineer, and the resultant spinoff was a young boy whom loved airplanes. I grew up in the 60's and 70's, so there was a lot going on in the world and in the world of Aviation. Plus, I grew up in a neighborhood 2 miles west of then NAS Miramar, the home of TOP GUN, and aka FIGHTERTOWN, USA. And then there were SHIPS. . . I discovered ships as my second favorite build subject. Once in a while, SHIPS made there way in front of the almighty aeroplane as my favorite subject. Favorite ships . . submarines. I love submarines. Then, as a slow moving, well hindered, ( not too well situated work area ), submarines were quick and easy to build. Last year, I had more than 60 submarine kits; all of them 1/350 or larger. This year?
Faithfully submitted, Tony Bunch

There is NO DOUBT that -GOOD- box art can stimulate sales figures!
The 1961 AURORA 1/400 CVAN-65 box art is the cat's meow to me! NOPE, not a sailing ship.
I could go on indefinitely when speaking of box art and the amazing effect on myself.
LASTLY,
I am 63 years old. I have an EVER-CHANGING stash, ( I recently took an interest in 1/35 JGSDF armor FROM GODZILLA MOVIES ) I AM A SELF-PROCLAIMED GODZILLA MOVIE FAN ! !
I'LL HAVE TO LIVE UNTIL THE YEAR 2149 AD to finish everything!
THIS NUMBER WILL NOT BE THE SAME NEXT WEEK!!
