Lancia Engine and trans. (Dino 246, ZF trans)

Adding the detail that Italeri missed. 

 

 

This is me fixing yo shiate. 

Before image, the bolts do not align up. Wtg Italeri... 

 

 

 

I this it fits really well now. Maybe a little putty to bring out the details. 

Here is side by side. Need to shorten it so remove the cast part, switch to top cam. 

Plausible but not the correct location.  

Looks a little long, but I need to reference the actual photos. I am using pva glue to test fit. I'll check against reference images tomorrow.

So. Major issue for me.

Reference material had the distributor on the other side of the engine.

Pondering to leave it and feel bad or struggle to move it to the correct side. 

Here I am thinning the pan. It is,way too thick out of the box. 

 

 

 

 

 

Used glue to melt and texture the block for added detail. Hope it works. 

 

The fitment of the block could be better. These are not clean, fresh connections.

I will need to clean, fill and paint these before moving on.

Again I expected better. 

Fill sand repeat.
