It does need the alterations because on the prototype the fenders aren't treadplate. The Dragon running gear is much better, so, you might as well use the entire lower hull. The prototype also used Ferdinand style tracks. I would have preferred to use Dra 6210 for this project because it has a nicer engine grate but as these vehicles were all slightly different it's probably okay
