The main issue with this project was that the Hasegawa's A-24B kit was so disappointingly bad that I just got overwhelmed with all the corrections. Gee, not even a hint of surface detail! Wrong paneling, lame internal details, etc. After trying to fit Eduard's speed brakes I realized that it was easier and cheaper just to buy a better model. So, I put everything away until I got a hold on an Accurate Miniatures Dauntless kit. Thing is, I have a very demanding career and the project faded away from my "to do" list. Maybe next spring break....
