Me-262 in-flight and on the ground

i want to use the landing gear, so i have to split it from the wheel covers 

for the infligh one, i can use the covers for the wheel bays 

resin cockpit. 

i want A2 version, so i need some gun ports here...

if i follow instructions, i can not sand the seams inside... and forget about painting.... 

dry fit... but i want to paint inside etc

but there are some horrible marks.... that will need some ingenuity.... 

remove the original intake parts (top right) and made some replacements (left) 

with the hole for the starter... maybe a bit too big but i like it.

ah, added four parts to make it look better 

PE seat belts, and some details, instrument pannel etc later. 

why not drop flaps and slats? ok, let's try 

not a scalpel... but the best for this surgery 😛 

after some surgery in the right, left is untouched 

 

 

i will try to make new slats with some metal sheet 

 

that instrument panel needs a bit of color....

maybe with the closed canopy nothing will be visible but.... i know it is there 

replacing the pitot in the wing with a piece of steel, was a good idea. i could have got the plastic one broken about 10 times already....
 

Primed, and sanding of defects. some panel lines need to be redone

Started with deep green 

 

That was supposed to be Olive Drab (XF-62), but it seems quite in the brown side of things.... well, artistic license 😛 .I actually like it, but I have some idea in mind yet....
The "yellowish" limes between the colours are just the white primer not fully covered. I actually did not plan for it, but when I was applying the second color, I liked the transition, and left it as it is 

Well.... it did not work quite as expected.... I guess I will need to repaint 🙁
Need to work on the paint/thinner/air pressure..... 

Repainted, I think I will stop here this time... 

stoped....3 years! now, decals and panel wash are done. I may give it a other layer of clear to seal the wash
