If you can achieve a super nice chrome finish on your astromech droid (The R2 series), that would look very nice I think overall.

I dont agree with treehuger, astromechs had a dull aluminum finish on the head. The work looks great, too clean for my likes in the y-wing series, a bit of chipping could get it better, but it looks great, i think it better to see a mostly new y-wing than a over saturated weather one. Keep it up!
