P-47D

First time using the airbrush. Put on primer with .35 needle. Encountered all the beginners problems, too thin, spiders, runners.
Had used putty, and clear to see near the wing roots that I need to be much more smooth before airbrushing. Leading edge of wings clear I put on too much paint. 

Neutral gray as bottom. Second thing I airbrushed, this went much smoother. Dropped the pressure to about 12psi, and went very slow. Same uneven problems at the wing roots though. 

Decided not to use the problematic decals on the nose for this one. Found a picture online of a Jug with olive drab and neutral gray, with yellow nose and tail. Decided to do that, even though that was a Razorback and not a bubble top.
But, putting on a covering coat of yellow is very hard.
Also having problems with the leading edge of the vertical tail section
