Beautiful finish and weathering. Is there a story behind the camo tail/silver dope finish? Was the tail grafted on from another plane to repair?

Elevators came from a IX Spitfire.It is possible that tail grafted from another aircraft.

Aaah the F-102!
The biggest jet in HAF service and a favourite of mine.
But I will continue with Airfix 1/48 Tiger Moth, to make a good company with Spitfire 🙂

Eduard Spitfire Vc in 1/48,painted with Greek AF markings,during late forties.Painted with Alclad and Xtracolor.
Vokes filter painted with Medium Sea Grey,Elevators are from Spitfire IX.
Markings were painted using custom masks.
