Well, Nathan prompted me to do this one with his great build of the TransOcean version (which I have in the stash as well). I have done the C-97 already, so Im familiar with the kit.

Finished the T-Birds F-84 today. Should have the F-15E done sometime next week. So will start around then.

OK, so like a year later I have picked this up. LOL

Simple kit. The windshield fit is crap. I have to decide how much affort I want to put into it. We shall see. The aluminum is on. Using Alclad. Will fiddle with the windshield fit then spray som more. Didnt go far enough up with this first coat.

Masked it to paint the top half. Got the white on AAAANNNNDDDDD I didnt get the top seam as well as I thought. #$%)(&%#!

So, I decided one more coat of white. Used a rattle can so it stayed glossy. And I managed to splooge around the masking. *sigh* Easy enough fix, but a pain the arse because I had t dirty up the air brush and clean it just for that spot.

So all done. Windscreen area looks blech. Just too small for masking with tape or fluid and I dont have a brush fine enough. But it will do.

I put weight in the nose, but clearly not enough.
