Sobre mim

I have re-started my hobby after about 20years. Unfortunately, my wife passed away, and I moved from Bury to Marple to be near my family. It is excellent here, and I am near Man Airport, so that's a plus. I mainly do Military Tanks on a 1/35 scale; my eyesight is poor, so a large scale is best for me. I am building a Sherman Tank now, and so far, I am enjoying the build, which is coming along nicely. The paints and pigments that are on offer nowadays as improved tremendously. My last build was a Revill Messerschmitt Bf 109-G which I did have some problems with, but it turned out looking okay. I have 3 Tamiya Tanks in 1/35, The M4A3 Sherman, the KingTiger, and the Jagapanzer Elefant in my tiny stash. Aircraft I have the Revell Spitfire 1/32 MK2, the B17 Memphis Belle 1/48 scale, The Airfix 1/48 Mosquito PR XV1 Airfix 1/72 MK2 Vulcan Two figures by ICM 1/16 British Police Women and finally a model of a US Marine. I would love to build the Saturn 5, but I have read bad reports about the build; apparently, you are required to bend pieces of card, and it is challenging to match up. I would love to hear from somebody who has built this kit.
