Swap tails, wings and engines between KC-97 & B-29 kits, creating XC-97 & KB-50J. Only three XC-97s built, 43-27472 crashed at Wright-Patterson Airfield on 22 May 1947 on a test flight, killing five of seven crew on board. I iwll use the old USAAF star & bar and CS-472 buzz code on fuselage sides and wing top / bottom. Spare windscreen & stencil decals from Caracal C-97 sheet.
