Second of two mojo builds to get me back on the wagon- first being the 1/35 Triceratops. Another really enjoyable kit which went together in only 1 week flat! Laid down some Tamiya Fine grey primer (L) on the 6 main sub-assemblies (4 limbs plus the head & tail) then coated them with XF-64 Red Brown. Teeth were done in Revell 05 Matt White, with claws done in a couple of coats of MiG One Shot Black Primer which had a good semi-matt finish to it. Similar to the Triceratops, the eyes were swiped/blobbed on but this time with XF-3 Yellow followed by a careful dod of X-18 Gloss Black. I glossed the limbs, head, and body with aerosol AK Semigloss/Satin Varnish then finished by superglue-ing the parts together. I had planned to do another PLAC Dark Grey wash on the teeth Matt White teeth, but realised that the few tiny spots I'd missed during the painting process had allowed the grey hues of the primer to peek through- so I let them be!
