It is not Santa coming... it is Ded Moroz...

For those of you, who have never experienced the Soviet occupation: 'Ded Moroz' (Grandpa Frost) was a character introduced from ca. 1936 to substitute the 'christian and capitalist superstition' Santa Claus. 'Ded Moroz' arrived with his maid-servant (mistress, perhaps 😉 ) 'Snowflake' on New Year's Day bringing gifts to children... But not only. During the "Great Patriotic/Motherland War" (which, according to Soviet/Russian propaganda was a totaly different war than the Second World War...) 'Ded Moroz' was bringing machine guns, dropping bombs and throwing hand grenades on enemy troops too... Have you ever seen Santa firing a PPsh gun?
