When I was young I built mostly 1/72 aircraft kits from the WWII era. Must have been at least a hundred of them. Then I switched to 1/35 scale tanks and figures etc. The last kits that I bought before my break was two 1/48 "modern" jets, the F4E Phantom II and the A7E Corsair, both from Hasegawa. So now my mission is to finish these two kits and for that Im now scanning the market for the best aftermarket detail sets. Found this site while googleing for ideas. When ready with those kits I will be turning to Swedish airforce kits. I have already bought the Pilot Replicas J21A3 and the engine kit. And since life seldom goes exactly as planned... I got a kit, a FW-190 in 1/72 from my feance and actually started building it and then the cravings began. Now I have three ideas at the same time: 1. Building the Swedish Air Force in 1/48. 2. Build all planes that Douglas Bader ever flew in in 1/48. And 3. Build all cars I ever had and some others from my youth in 1/24. So now I have 10 large cardboard boxes filled with kits and still got nowhere except the kitchen table to sit and build. We plan to move to a bigger house but hasn't found the right one yet. And at the same time both my stash and wish list grows exponential ?
