Thank you Matti for the like and the previous plastic basher. 🤘🥸👍

Thank you Gorby and Neil for your kind comments. Not as prolific as you Neil, nice work on your Diavoli by the way. Gorby, re: Scammel Scarab. British Transport information films keep popping up on my YouTube feed about these 😳 regressing me to my Yoof' and making me suspicious of these algorithms, insidious?🤔🤨🤣🤘🥸👍

Must mean that deep down you reaaaaaally want to build a Scarab. The algorithm can't be wrong, you must obey. 😄

Mark you did a great job with my favorite aircraft. feel bad about that wing snapping off, but end results is nice. If i get time in the next little while i'll make my way over to the local air museum to get photos of the one they had restored a few years ago.

Is it a nice kit? I am planning to build a Hurricane and have not decided which one to buy yet.

It is a nice kit considering it's age. The problem being, the wing comprises five parts. Gear bay, front of the gear bay, port/ starboard upper wings and a whole under wing. Because the build was going well, I duped myself and constructed the wing. This caused alignment problems and a massive step on the portside. Subsequently, it snapped on forcing the issue. Luckily I have a donor kit, which I am dry fitting at the moment to see how it aligns and the best way to fit it. Posting pic's and description soon.

Rui Rodriguez, thanks for the like and every other plastic basher and beer drinkers too. I've had a fort, Beer Drinkers and Plastic Bashers sung to the toon of Beer Drinkers and Hell Raisers by ZZ Top (I'll have to stop listening to my brane when I'm on 6/2)

Thank you Pietro, came home from a 6/4 Shift yesterday just to tired to fettle the Hurri' and apply paint. Think I'll wait till the weekend. Cheers for the like too. 👍🥸🤘

That's nice, Mark. It looks really good. When you say it is all brush-painted,, do you mean airbrush or paintbrush?
14 March, 22:44

Hi Jennifer F/O McKnight's Hurricane was brush painted. It was my fifth build on returning to the hobby. Built on the back kitchen table.

I'm on my third build ever so that I can relate. Especially considering that it is your fifth build, it is astounding.

Thank you Jennifer 👍 You're not doing to bad yourself the Anson is coming on a treat. 🤘🥸🤟

Enjoyed following the Build Mark, will have to put a Hurricane on the future shopping list.
Really like the engine bay 👏👍
1 15 March, 19:21

Thank you MrD, the Hurricane with the open engine bay is the Italeri kit and it wasn't that bad putting it together. The current build is the Hobby 2000 re-boxing of the Hasegawa kit and I have the new tooling Hobby Boss Hurricane in the stash.
