@Thomas: thanks for the feedback. It´s my first try on metal finish and my 3rd model in total so I´m very interested in your "room of improvement". Could you please name them? To answer your questions on the colours I used: AK Extreme Metal polished aluminium on gloss black primer for fuselage and rudder/flaps and white aluminium directly on Mr. Surfacer 1500 black primer for wings

sorry for the late reply … I zoomed into some pictures e.g. 21 (under the exhaust)and to me the surface looks a bit rough. I get this if my paint is not thinned enough.
I admit that this could also be an optical illusion. Anyway: your Mustang looks great!

thanks Thomas - I appreciate you took some time to give an updated feedback. You are right, in this area I had slight orange skin effect on the primer. The picture makes it more present as at is and after adding the big decal, it´s not visible anymore. I learned a lot during this build ... it was planned as a quick and dirty build but it came out totally different ... now I know why lots of people say NMF is not easy 😄
