This Land & Lease P-40C was flying in 20th GIAP, pilot Alexej Khlobystov. On 8th April 1942 he shot down one Bf-109 and one Bf-110 by taran maneuver and managed to land with the plane (this is well documented on photos). Khlobystov died in combat later in 1942.
