Well, Eduard is comin' out with a new tool MiG-15 Bis in 1:72 any week now.

I need to build the two Airfix MiG-15 that I've got in my stash before gettin' the Eduard one...

Yep, the fuselage is far too long but it's a great little kit to go together. Shame Airfix got the dimensions so wrong....

Why not the Monogram Mig 15. It is such an excellent kit. I bought the Mig 15 and The F86 Sabre boxed together years ago. Excellent

Nice work! As long as you don't park it next to the KP or new Eduard kits, nobody will notice that it's a bit "out of shape."

Hi Daniel, the kit look very to be a very nice one. I like your paint work too. Look forward to see more of it.

Klear coat now applied, hopefully on to the decalling tomorrow. Also waiting for a delivery of Pavla replacement main wheels.

Nice work on an old kit. The camo hides all the shortcomings of the kit. Bravo

Klear coat applied last night, and decals now finished tonight.
Just need to seal them in with another Klear coat and then it's just down to the final pieces and finishing off the weathering/chipping.

Hi Christian, my opinion is that although the kit has inaccurate dimensions, the fit of parts is great. It's the newer tooling by Airfix, so nice fit bit deep panel lines.
I have actually really enjoyed putting this one together and it's nice and relaxing after my last build.

Now completed some weathering with chipping staining with pastels and some panel line wash. Flat coat now on too. Almost finished, just the undercarriage, airbrakes and some aerials to go.

Looking very good! Your weathering is restrained, I prefer that over some of the over-weathering you see. Good job! And despite the shape issues with the kit, I think it sure looks the part!
