Pardon my ignorance but can you please inform us as to which country operated this particular machine. I noticed that the roundel contains a representation of the Southern Cross so I am assuming that it is a South American country.
Edit, found it. Brazilian Air Force. So along with national colours we share the Southern Cross

@wilky It's not my model, but I can answer your question. 'FAB" stands for Força Aérea Brasileira, or Brazilian Air Force.

Wow. That makes the models I build look like squeeky toys. What beautiful, breath-taking detail work! Superb scale modeling 🙂

I used plans from MMP publication, not very helpful, wingspan of 1/32 plans was 3cm larger, most rivets came from this walkaround svsm.org/gallery/p47d/P1580107
