Guy Rump AutorThanks Spanjaard, all have been hand brush painted. I am now experimenting with Klear etc to try and make decals look more presentable.

Spanjaardyes some gloss paint before decalling will avoid silvering. then you can use some satin/matt to protect and hide the carrier film of the decals.

Mike DanielsI sometimes stick em on using varnish to hold them in place. A stiff brush helps to ram them down if the surfaces are pronounced.

Bart TeunisWell and sand them after each layer with a high grid 6000 or higher maken the surface really smooth so the gloss will be smooth > less change on silvering
