I think we deserve a few more photos Willem. That looks a very nice build, and I'd like to see a bit more of the excellent weathering please???

Thanks Willem, now I know how that magic happened. I have never sanded a metal barrel before. Seemed to work out quite nice though. Well done Mate, beautiful build! Credit to you! Doubt you'd get any negative feedback from this bunch, they all seem focused on helping not criticising fellow modellers.

Seeing now the new pictures. It is great stuff.
I never thought of a correction pen to correct ejection pin marks. I will have to give it a try

@ Peter : You're welcome my friend. About sanding the metal barrel. It was a try out and it seemed to work out quite well indeed. Keep in mind that you use a very fine grit size. Thanks again for your kind words.

@ Spanjaard : I read this somewhere how to use a correction pen or correction fluid to fill up these pin marks. Once you put it there, leave it overnight before sanding the stuff. It takes some time to set.

Thanks again guys for your reactions. Hope to show some more soon !

Album info

Here are some pics of the 1/35 Tamiya Panzerjäger "Jagdpanther" späte version Sd.kfz. 173. A very nice kit that I recently built mostly straight out of the box. I added a few things such as PE grills, metal barrel and Friul tracks. I am an average modeller and build just for the hobby which i enjoy very much. So please don't shoot me if things are not historically correct. I also leave my models fairly clean.
I really need to work on my weathering skills. I hope you'll enjoy.
