Next model I have been working on, Trumpeter's 1/35 "StuG E100". And yes that gun is RIDICULOUS. I worked out the calibre as being around 21cm...

I'd just like to point out these two vehicles are both 1/35 scale, and to ask...
GERMANY, WHY?!

The guy in charge was convinced bigger = better. According to Wiki the gun was 15cm (blueprint). en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Panzerkampfwagen_E-100

This is a fictional assault gun based on the E 100 chassis. I measured the gun calibre of the model, and came up with 6mm. After converting that from 1/35 to 1/1 scale I came up with 21cm calibre, and after doing a big of research i'm pretty sure the gun is the 21cm Kanone 39.

Painted the base coat, Vallejo Model Air Sand Yellow as Dunkelgelb. Next i'll be painting on some green & brown stripes onto the hull, and painting the front area of the super-structure in red-brown primer.

I have been thinking of adding some of these "battle-damage" ones I have had lying around...
