Zimmerit looking good!

how was using this zimmerit?i have one of the same brand for my panther, so really curious about it

Hey Spanjaard. The Atak Zimmerit is really easy to use and handles like Paper. Cut it with a sharp knife, grind it just a bit on the back side sonit isnt so thick and place it on the model. I used Ethyl acetate to fix it on the Plastic. Just add the brush with glue to its edges and the Glue will suck into the space between Zimmerit and Plastic and bond. I can only recommend it!

i'm debating of mounting the side Fenders on or not. If yes, the Zimmerit on the side of the hull needs to be cut. But i want the Fenders to be damaged, so some surgery on the plastic has to be done. The Fender for the Tiger Panzer are easily copied with Foil, but the King Tiger has special Forms... lets see what i can do

Hi Roger! Just in case, Hauler does some PE fenders that could be damaged very easily.

Are the fenders made with thick tinfoil or something else?

those fenders look really good in metal. much thinner than plastic. and can probably be damaged anyway you want. looks like thin aluminium, right?
