Two pictures at the beginning of a small but, I hope, fine project. The clear parts are all shown with decals as in my other 144 projects. In my opinion Roden exaggerated the depth of the engravings, so the all the panel lines were sanded a bit to size.

That motivates me, thank you! Slavo, indeed I am looking forward to this highly polished surface!

I chose Alclad's "Polished Aluminum" as surface colour to match the beautiful polished shimmer of the original. Soon I can start applying the decals!

Lovely silvery wings 🙂 Are you using the markings in the kit?

Nathan, thank you! No, I did not even touch them 🙂 What you can see are markings from "Vintage Flyer Decals", quite lovely to work with.
Just a few steps to get this dwarf finished- but these are not without challenges for me: Realizing the de-icer areas on the propeller blades and attaching an appropriate brake line wiring to the landing gear legs!

Something a little different....I love it! Nicely done so far Roland 👍

I did not know that brand until now, but I can follow your recommendation!

This small but nice kit is now finished to my delight. Accuracy of fit is very average not to say bad, but you can improvise a lot 🙂
The decals from Roden look already brittle and unkind printed, so they were only taken out of the plastic packaging to be able to separate rubbish correctly.
As written above, the decals of the TWA machine are from Vintage Flyer Decals.
I thank you for your interest and the motivating comments- hope you like the result!

As always - it looks great. On a first look you hardly recoginze the tiny scale. great model and pictures 👍

That's a lovely finish Roland. I agree with Juergen, as you can hardly tell it's 144 scale.

This is really a big praise, thank you both, Jürgen and Nathan!

Suggestion: If having the finished model photos together with the work-in-progress photos, all the photos inside the same album, but having those final photos at the end of the album, I think it is a good idea to change the forum photo, to the first photo of the finished model, which would be photo 13. That makes it easier to browse through your photoss of the finished model.
