Thank you Lukasz! I do not know, where this kit stems from, but one of my childhood memories consist of my elder brother having build this Caravelle. That must have been around the very early 70´. 🙂
The more recently build Caravelle is not far from completion; antennas and a few touch-ups still need to be made.Especially on the windows, some contours still need to be touched up.

Thank you Lukasz! Yes, the decals for the SAS model are from the kit; in fact the whole kit is strictly built out of the box.

With these pictures, I not only conclude a truly enjoyable and also somewhat sentimental project, but also bring my year's yield of these remarkable last twelve months up to date. This period has brought a remarkable thirty build models.
On the one hand, the Caravelle has been really challenging, on the other hand, it has been fun on the right side trying out all kinds of new things.

Now on to a new year and new adventures! I wish you all a Happy New Year 2021!

The best thing that could happen to this old kit was to fall into the hands of a skilled modeler like Roland 🙂
Just imagine what we would have done to it back in the days when were just 10 years old or so........
Great result, very realistic looking NMF and glossy white paintjob. In flight configuration really flatters the beautiful lines of the bird !
