Roland Sachsenhofer AutorThe Norseman has made it off the workbench, I would like to show you a few pictures of this beautifully shaped machine, better said: model! The Matchbox moulds are now really a bit outdated, the one or other compromise is unavoidable. But the biggest problem - the one with the windows - and the resulting extra work has been homemade and has nothing to do with the quality of the kit. I hope you like the pictures- and now off to new adventures!
PS: the decals show a machine that was also used in Burma as a tug for the Waco; the last two pictures indicate this.

Roland Sachsenhofer AutorThank you for your words! From picture 12 you can see the steps of the colouring: I used Gunze H 58 as primer, which I then partially covered with "Maskol". On top of this, I only used "White Aluminum" from Alclad as a metal tone. By rubbing off the dabbed on Maskol, the green primer was exposed again - and thus helped to make a weathered impression.
For those parts that should not be "silver dope", but should show NMF, like on the cowling, I added "Polished Aluminum" on top of the "White Aluminum". But only in very small doses, the "White Aluminum" remains dominant.
