Robert, another of your unusual subjects. I am also booking my seat.

The instructions are a bit intimidating indeed.
Love the choice of subject, taking a sear for this one too

Please, feel warmly welcomed Villiers, Ben M and Jan 🙂

So photo 2, you grab a handful of toothpicks and you glue them in random locations?

LOL 😄 (actually, there are some tiny eyelets on the bottom of the pancake...)

I've got this in my wishlist. Robert, I thought I might've found a weird one that you'd missed. 😎 Foolish me! 😭 You are the undisputed King of weird and this will be another triumph. 👍

You certainly have an eye for the unusual, Robert 👍 Watching with curiosity and wishing you a steady hand 🙂👍

May I take a seat? Any room still left under the shadow of the umbrella?

Welcome, Gentlemen! Sure, Alex K, there is always a seat waiting for you. For Bruce, Mark and Neil, of course, there are seats, too 😉
@ Mark - of course there are many weird and unusual machines' kits that I do not own... mostly due to their high price and/or limited availability 😄

Where do you get these contraptions (can't call it an aircraft, it has no wings 😄 )?

Strange plane, taking a seat....first version of the AWACS 😉

A little bit of progress here, Mates... lack of spare time lately 😭

Pity it's not in 1/24th. You would have a new coffee table when finished!😃

Indeed, WhiteGlint, it is quite a tedious work and I am preparing them one after one (slowly...). Hope this will pay off, finally...

Yes I do, Ben. The idea is to re-create them around the piece of soft wire. After glueing the wires' ends into the holes drilled in the "wing" and on the fuselage top it should be much easier to adjust their positions (I tested this method when assembling the undercarriage of 1/48 Dewoitine D. 510 from Dora Wings and it worked perfectly - save the fact that in the bigger scale you can easily drill into plastic ends and just install short pieces of wire there...)

i wonder how well this would fly in comparison with 2 halves on the side of a plane
