Gary Kitchen AutorHajo 😄 I didn't even think of that, he was a pilot I just had lying around so he got used. As I was only doing this one for a bit of a break and some PE practice I don't mind too much. 👍

Hajo LippkeI noticed it immediately, because I have a lot of Jetpilots in my stash that I need to rework as helo-pilots when necessary... But great looking anyway! Maybe he´s on a high altitude mission in the Alps! 😉

Gary Kitchen AutorThanks both. Still not quite right but time to move on. In the video he explains that the glue/water mix should remove the towel print design but mine never seemed to. Guess it depends on the towel brand 😄 also the water effect he was using was more of a gel and so very malleable compared to the AK product I used. Anyway happy with it as a test bed, I have three Sunderlands in the stash so better get used to making water display bases.

Andy BallGary, that is indeed a great first attempt! I am also thinking of doing a water dio for the Sunderland....so will use your experience as an aspiration!
