I've always had an interest in model making, ranging from Airfix kits to model railways and boats via a balsa model of the SRN-1 hovercraft. I came back to 1/35 military modelling in about 2002.

Since having a stroke in 2001, I have also filled my time making cross-stitch embroideries of engineering subjects such as railway locomotives, cars and traction engines. You've got to do something to fill in your spare time, especially when you've got as much of it as I have. After all, you can't spend all day watching daytime TV.
I suspect my ambitions exceed my skills, but, hopefully, they'll meet somewhere.
