I started building in February 2013, so I still have a lot to learn. My first ever kit was a Revell F-16 that I built many years ago when I was 16. After doubling it's weight with glue I tried to paint it. That didn't work out so well, so I tried how well it flies. It didn't.
In the mean time i've built a bunch of Warhammer 40.000 Space Marines, Orks and Gretchins, but that was always a bit boring to me. And when a friend gave me a Revell 1:72 King Tiger I wanted to build more. The King Tiger itself is on hold because i didn't like the tiny tracks. So i started building 1:35 tanks, of which my Panther Ausf.A is the first example.
And then i discovered Scalemates.. I keep discovering new kits i'd like to build someday, and since i like German WW2 era vehicles i tend to add a lot of them. But i also have airplanes like the A-10 Thunderbolt. And i'd like to build German 'paper' Panzers like the VK1602 Leopard (and most other panzers that appear in the World of Tanks game).
I also love the German experimental aircraft like the Horten Ho 229, and one of my goals is to build a collection of flying wings, starting with the Horten all the way to the Northrop-Grumman B-2 'Spirit'.
