I've been playing with styrene since I was a wee lad...pretty much 50 years now. It's still a priority to me, and likely always will be, as long as I have anything to say about - mind you, my health is wrestling for control.
Over the years I've built (the big 3) genre's - auto's [all years], aircraft [WW2 & newer] and armour [WW2 only]. I haven't built a ship yet and likely won't. I have a stash of about a hundred kits...in the listed genre's.
I'm a build-table maniac, and as such I have most of each range in the paints by Model Master & Citadel (I grew-up with enamels, but am changing over to acrylics such as Tamiya, Vallejo and Ammo. I possess all manner of tools, airbrushes and artist paint brushes (far too much to list). I now spend a lot of my free time watching YouTube model channels. I'm a previous member of many clubs, including multiple terms as president of my local IPMS chapter, where I was active since the early 80's. I ended my membership only because of failing health.
Now that I'm off work (thanks to disability status), I have the time (and the kits) to keep me occupied. As I type this, I'm working on both a car (the aged AMT 1970.5 Baldwin Motion 454 Camaro) and a plane (an Eduard Hurricane).
