Paweł MatysiakWW2 was tested but not battle tested in WW2. Few early Centurions were sent to continent but never made it to front lines in time before final fall of Nazi Germany. Similarly to IS3 it is WW2 tank that missed the war

Paweł MatysiakI don't have book source by hand but here you have David Wiley from Tank Museum who actually writes books on tank history who gives background to Chieftain and says that Centurion came by the end of WW2: Youtube Video (i hope pasting links is ok?)

It deals with a good ammount of details regarding the first Centurions 👍
