I think you hit the nail on the head with this bloke. Nice faded basic color, convincing weathering and - my personal little highlight - some smear on the wiped area of the windshield. This makes it look much more natural than the just masked areas which appear perfectly clean you usually see on dirtied windshields.

Thanks, Michael! That's very kind of you to say. I had a Jeep Wrangler with a rear-mounted spare, so I tried to mimic a partially wiped off look back there as well.

Which turned out good too. The engine is very well done too. Very good oxidation on the exhaust, very convincing wear. Nice detail with the wiper water reservoir.
The bonnet hood...well it is closed anyway. 😉.
Bottomline: this model definitely doesn't give you away as a beginner.
I am anxious about your next project. Keep us posted.
