I like how you managed to make the plastic look like painted metal, any trick to that? Hm, maybe a combination of weathering and thin layers of paint perhaps.

yes , I used many paintings and medias such as Tamiya Weathering Master, Mr. Hobby soot, Mr. Hobby rust, Mr. Hobby oil. Of course enamel paintings are the most important. They can make first weathering effects layer easily.
