Great job so far, Peter!
Watching with great interest. I have the Rothmans and Canadian Reds kits in my stash, too. I built the kit many years ago, and remember that the decals aren't opaque enough.
I remember as a kid, seeing the Canadians Reds (and later known as the Rayban Reds)at a couple Airshows in my home province of Alberta.

@Gordon - You are right, I still remember the decals, but.....at the moment I'm keeping my fingers crossed that they will at least work and not disintegrate, haha
Thanks for your mental support so far, mates! 🙂

The decades-old decals are doing surprisingly well! They need an awful long time to soak and even then won't get off from the paper on their own, but otherwise they don't mind being pulled off by tweezer! Lucky me! 🙂

Looks great, Peter! What paints did you use for the red and white? Did you use a primer?

Wow, hard to believe I have Never seen this boxing, very cool! I had a 1/48 Pitts and thought that was small! Awesome work.

Thanks mates!🙂
@Gordon - Just Gunze H1 and H3. No primer, I cleaned the surfaces with Isopropanol and then painted it by brush.
