he Peugeot 205 T16, also known as the 205 Turbo 16, was a rally car that was very successful in the World Rally Championship (WRC) in the 1980s. The 205 T16 was one of the first 4-wheel-drive rally cars. It had a Kevlar body, pronounced wheel arches, and large air scoops. The engine was a mid-mounted, 1.8-liter, turbocharged, four-cylinder engine.
Between 1984 and 1986, the 205 T16 won 16 races, two drivers' championships, and two constructors' championships.
This model depicts Ari Vatanen car in 1987 Dakar Rally edition.
