Starbase101Nicely done, but just curious what are all the copper "coils" for behind each of the LEDs?

Louis Leung АвторThanks Starbase101. They are the inductive LED modules. The display base under DeLorean delivers electromagnetic power to the coils and light up the LEDs. As a result, no battery or soldering is needed, I can easily add LEDs just like assembling the model parts. You can find more info at amahalo.com

Starbase101Interesting idea, but a bit pricey for each LED. I expect some "serious sh*t" happens when they reach 88 volts.... 😎
I'll just put power cells under the hood when building mine.
