They are useless!

January 12, 20254 Models (Das Werk) and Sugijama Hajime gensui (Tamiya) -> wip/more to come
The tankdrivers had to drive in this way to see the terrain in front of the tank through the visual slits ... it would be artistic to drive with this tank! Like artistic cycling 😉
Hajime (handed down): "Every onara will blow them up!" He seemed not very convinced ... 😉 A little bit "what if" ... but Hajime gensui was real (1880-1945).2
January 14, 2025Kugelpanzer # 1 (wip) - the weak point of the kit is the seam between parts A7/A9 and A6/A8 as all reviews say. A strong pressfit helps a little (see advice of T. Hartwig/Panzer-Modell.de)3
January 17, 2025I've read about the Soviet-Japanese Neutrality Pact April 13, 1941 - so I think there could have been also a Soviet military attaché to inspect the ball tanks ...
cf. avalon.law.yale.edu/wwii/s1.asp4
January 18, 2025I'll try to make disappear the seams - I hope a mixture of glue and putty will work (first attempt).5
January 22, 2025Working with a glass eraser (Faber-Castell) to make disappear the seams (second attempt).6
January 23, 2025Third attempt: Using the dregs of washing out my brushs; solvent is denatured alcohol which evaporates quickly.7
January 23, 2025A fictitiuos conversation between the Soviet military attache in Tokyo and Sugiyama Hajime, an important Japanese general and politician in this time, ...
Soviet attache: "Are you sure, that Krupp had built this vehicles?"
Hajime: "I think this is an April Fool's Day. You may get one if you will found a tank museum some day."

January 24, 2025I'm happy that the colour of the drives work. Ok, they are dummys, but in this way I can avoid an ugly gap. cf. the nice video: Youtube Video9
January 28, 2025The next step - "the floating chrysanthemum".10
