Nice touch having the walnut pattern decals for the dashboard. The decals are showing their age. They have yellowed while stuck in a box for many years and are starting to crack. I didn't clear coat them though, so they might have lasted better if I had.

Marcel Despite the difficulties you described, it's a great looking Jag. Well done.
George Williams It's very nice, BUY 12 was a very famous racing Mk II car. My first Jaguar was a 3.4 Mk II, I wish I still had it now.

I built this kit sometime around 2001-02. It has been in storage for many years, waiting for a suitable cabinet to display it in. Some of the metallic decals have fallen off and disappeared, and the decals have yellowed slightly, but otherwise it is still in good condition. I painted it with Tamiya Old English White in a rattle can, which was not a pleasant experience. It took 3 cans to finish it as the paint kept running (my own fault). Everything apart from the body was either airbrushed or hand painted. The chrome parts were left as is since Tamiya chrome is so nice.
