If you listen carefully you can hear my collection, stash and tools etc going into a skip.
Honestly, this is superb!

Dave, I read with some apprehension that there is a skip being fed some modelling items. ???? Please tell what you mean !!!🙁

That's awesome! Are the details scratch built or after markets?

The engine, firewall gasoline tank and some parts of cockpit are scratch built, most of cockpit is from Eduard set.

You will create magic with a 1/48 F-111 Orlando, because this Spitfire is something beautiful for it's scale. 🙂

Wonderful work on the engine, impressive work on this great looking 1/72 scale Spit 👍 👍 👍

Beautiful work Orlando! 👍
@Kerry, I am sure Dave is jesting about his collection finding a skip, I see a lot of fantastic work like Orlando's and sometimes wonder why I bother. But then I build for myself and try to improve my skills (when I slow down and take my time) with each build. One day I hope my models turn out like this.

Ray, I have, on the odd occasion, been tempted to turf the lot, but I sit with a beer and a couple of mates and I can tell them exactly how, when, where and why I did each model in my display cases and then i find myself looking for the next model. Thank God !! LOL 🙂

That is absolutely unbelievably precise and convincing ! What about these cowling parts, did you scratchbuild them as well ? There so realistic and thin that I don't believe they were furnished in the kit.

Great effort especially at a small scale. Too much work for me to go to that level of detail but great to see someone has the ability, time and patience.
